I love this article. I had just journaled earlier this week a list of passions and interests to pursue: yoga, writing, hospice, homesteading, gardening, herbalism, etc., and was wondering which ones I should focus on. I get overwhelmed as I love them all. I like your advice on listing in order of preference. I also had been contemplating not 'doing' or setting lofty goals this year but instead just slowing down a bit. This article was timely for me. Thank you.

I feel there is a collective field we all tap into, and those in a similar space have a habit of meeting each other. I also enjoy novelty so it is nice to set some time aside for recreational novelty, where I can pick up as many shiny objects as a want. Then once time is up, I put them down and get back to the thing on top of my list!

As the months before 2024 ended, I found myself wondering into the realms where Hermits dwell. I love seeing that multiple people are speaking of this being the year of the Hermits. I personally feel this Hermits year will swirl around the understand and celebrating the self. Knowing and mastering the self. Stepping into authenticity of self while accepting the duality with lives within the self. Thank you for this writing much to pounder!

That's definitely what I want 2025 to be, not in a selfish way, but in a "looking after myself" kinda way 😊

I can relate to this. I feel I have spent my life in Hermit mode, with the odd year or so of extroversion thrown in.
